North didn't have enough to bid 7. 4♥ is probably explained as 25-26, and North has as many as 9 points, 7 HCP, 1 for a doubleton spade, 1 for a 5th diamond. So 33+ points == slam.
Now some people might say that the minor suit queens (especially ♦Q) aren't worth anything in this auction, but Work/Goren gave them 2 points in value and points are points.

LOL johnu. GUBBO thinks a void in partner's twice bid suit is a significant plus.
methinks the correct bid is 3H. gszes do you read the bidding blurbs? this is not "human" bridge we play here. It is some neanderthal archaic form of bidding. Exactly like the guys in my domestic money bridge games.
