tough one.

4H was the first thing that shot into my mind, then I glanced at the vulnerability.

I'm going to pass. 4H probably has at least 4 top losers, and I just don't think they have a game. 5 of a minor will depend on how many major suit cashers we have, but it wouldn't surprise me if that was 3. If they balance and get to 3 of a minor, I can compete with 3H. If they get to 3N...well...hope I'm on lead or else ill have to smack it (and they'll probably run).

I guess we're responding to the weak 2, I might bid 2NT (feature ask or Ogust) and then sign-off in 3 to hopefully stop the opps finding their nice minor fit...

A nice, non-forcing 3 would be nice.

Not playing that I pass.

I pass for now and will bid 3H over their possible 3m.

Playing transfers over preempts I would bid 3D.
Please note: I am interested in boring, bog standard, 2/1.

Pass. And reopen with 3 if needed/possible

I expect to fail in 3 more often than not, but I will rarely go down 2 tricks and they will very rarely be able to double me.

It is even possible that the auction may go: 2 (P) P (3m) P (3N)

Give partner KQJxxx of or AQJxxx and RHO a stopper and filler for his partner's suit.

I would not double 3N :D
