Is this a serious question? In SAYC you would bid 2NT with this. Game going hand, 13-15 or so hcp. Perfect? Of course not, but that is the bid.

Personally, I think that 2NT with that hand is an abomination

Well, my knowledge of Kitchen bridge says "We have D, let's bid D!" so 3 or 4 D as per your definition of invitation (as large as it may be in sayc)

So I have set out, in point form, a whole systemic outline, with an index and 17 chapters on different topics. It is currently 72 pages in length, not counting the index. At that it is the shortest of three sets of system notes I have: but I know it will be expanding if the partnership takes off.

I heard, years ago, that the Meckwell notes were in excess of 600 pages.

I sure hope it does, for your sake, as that is a heck of a lot of work for an occasional game.......maybe we'll get to hear of your future successes at the national level
