Ah, I always sucked at Titan, but I always liked playing, anyway.
The only good story I have about it was a Titan game at a convention, where one young gentleman boasted that he never has lost, and that's because if anybody attacked him, any time, he would spend the rest of that game, and any other he played against that person, solely trying to kill that player (and therefore nobody ever attacked him). Next year he said the same thing; my response was "that's okay, neither me nor my friends expect to ever play anything else against you." After the third time he was attacked (by different players), he clued in (it's good to know the con committee)...

Not attack. Brush usually favors defender when no native pieces are present, and lions are atypically bad pieces relative to trolls.
