When bbo crashes and I choose "send error report", does bbo actually get to see the error report, or does it go straight to microsoft to be buried in their himalayan paperwork pile?
I won't bother "sending" error report if it serves no purpose. It never seems to do any good..just makes me feel like ms is invading my privacy again..
Have been crashing out of bbo recently, using the 3.5.5 Not sure if its my computer or what. I used to be able to multi task at ease, but not since I got it...

1) The report goes straight into MS's error database
2) Your privacy is not invaded in any way by this

I would never send a report if a non-Microsoft product chrashes, because this information would help to strenghten Microsoft's position, which is already far too strong.

Knowing which software produces errors and which does not is a good way to get an idea which company to pruchase and where to write a new product.
It simply serves to know better what is going on in the software market, which is quite an advantage I think.
