Hi,
I will settle for 3NT, so this means I go via 3D.
With kind regards
Marlowe

In my view, partner is showing a hand with some slam interest. (I play a style where I will open 1m, rather than 2♣ on strong hands with a minor.) Given that I have 3 card support and an ace and a king, I am optimistic. My planned auction:
1♣
2♥
3♣
3NT
* Showing a stopper or cue for clubs
** Cue for clubs and clarifying that 3♦ was a cue for clubs
and then:
5♣
or
4NT
or
4♠

I want my opponents to leave my table with a smile on their face and without matchpoints on their score card - in that order.

Agree with 1NT and 2NT. Now 3D and I will pass 3NT.
Please note: I am interested in boring, bog standard, 2/1.

Yes that's what I'd do. The suggestion of 3♥ over 2♥ is lol. I hate to break it to a certain poster or two, but a cuebid is not automatically the right answer on every problem!

Partner should bid 3S not 3N.
