There is indeed an application called LogMeIn, made by a company named LogMeIn.com, that will allow to make your ipad, iphone, any android phone, tablet. window, linux or apple computer run as remote for any computer you want to. Simply download the application, and list the computers you want to control from that device. On each computer you want to control , download the plug in, create an account and list the machines you wish to control remotely. Then, from yout iPad, log on to that machine, using the proper password. A few seconds later, you will be on your machine just as if you were at its keyboard. Even the mouse works the same. It is truly an amazing application and well worth the $30 they charge you for it.

I don't know if this is a revelation or anything but I just played 2 hands from an HP Touchpad! Crazy. The cards were dadgum small! Too small really but it worked. Just went to the site via the web browser and logged in as normal. Like I said I am not sure if that is old hat now or not. I thought the tablets were pretty much out for playing on BBO.

The problem with the ipad and iphone is that apple doesn't want to support Flash. I'm not informed about HP's policy, but I suspect they allow Flash, in which case it's obvious you can play on that tablet.

Really BBO should have an iPhone app and an Android app. Just making the existing interface small would not make a great interface. The phone and tablet devices really are different than desktop and laptop devices: no keyboard, no mouse, but touch screen, gestures, tilt sense, and in general smaller screens. This calls for a different implementation for a comfortable user experience. It would be nice if BBO either implemented apps, or allowed an independent party to write and sell apps.

For those who want it there is hope now:
Seems that Adobe plans to drop mobile Flash and that they will somehow transcode FlashApps to HTML5 Apps that can run on most mobile devices.

I recently bought an iPhone, so now I want a BBO app as well... But I'm already glad that I can watch VuGraph with it.

Android supports flash, but for some reason all attempts to enter a password fail. It appears that any key typed appears as an 'a' then vanishes. The vanishing part is okay, as that is normal security, but the proper letter should appear first.
Hmmm... I wonder what would happen if I changed my password to all 'a's.

I agreed on many users BBO must make an application for iPad / iPhone users because iswifter and similar app. Are not the real solutions for iPad users...

This did not work either.
Has anyone tried BBO on an Amazon Kindle Fire yet?
Yes -have problem putting password in- first letter shows up briefly then reverts to empty box with cursor flashing. I can access the site but you have to go to new member and choose new name and password and login through that page. Unfortunately this means every time you want to access site you have to become new member! I have been on to Amazon support and they attempted to login using the Fire but no dice. Tech are calling me back in a few days with, hopefully, a way to get round this- will keep you informed
