Scoring: IMP

East will open 1 and if South double's or bids anything below 2 (including pass) west will bid 3 (fit jump - heart support with 5+ to "honors"). East will correct to 3 if North passes or doubles, if North bids a suit or notrump, East will pass. EW will not bid beyond 3's.



Scoring: 5Ds=10, 5Dn=7, 4Ds=6, 4Dn=3, 2N=2, 3N=2, 3HE=1, 3Hx=0

5 isn't favorite to make imo.
You need a club finesse and even if it's on you didn't make yet.
I would expect 4 scoring just as well or even better at mp's as it beats all other partscore scores and failed games.
Simulation might show 5 makes more than 50% (i need to check this) but you always guess spades playing double dummy.

Please reconsider ;)

The bidding tells you that the club finesse is on and (I think) also makes it easier to guess spades.
