I have a problem installing BridgeMaster 2000.

First time I installed on this computer all was fine, except I read a h for 4 in the code. I was told it was not a valid code. Since then I have tried many times, uninstall etc. Install goes fine but when I start the app by clicking on the BM2000 icon I get the error "~crfxxxx.tmp has encountered a problem and must close" where xxxx is four numbers. It seems to be a problem in CD-Cops. I never asks my to type in the code.

System: old laptop with WinXP, sp2
Bridgemaster 2000 Scandinavia on CD (yes original and payed for!)

Any tips?

Hi Plaur,

I have not seen this problem before. Let's try this: On your Win XP, are you the administrator? Can you please make sure you are and have full rights before installing. Does that help?

Who did you buy BM2K Scan from? Was it Lex?

I am logged in as administrator. I think I bought it from Danish Bridge Federations bookshop on the Vingsted festivallast year. On the package however edbridge.dk is the distributor. There is contact email and telephone, but I am on holiday. I might contact them when I get home.

Thanks

K. Sorry I couldn't help. Post again if you still have problems after talking to them please.
