Hello:

Well, I would like to have an option to rotate the hands in the HAND EDITOR screen.

Usually you load the hands with South as declarer, but I would like to change it for teaching purposes.

Thanks...

Pablo.

Where are these options? I don't see it in the hand editor. How do I make the diamond hand be south in the below:

Hmm, ok, not sure what the OP meant, but I meant in the hand editor on the forums software. I.e., the little card I can click on this message. The ability to rotate the hand in the My Hands will be helpful for posting hands that occurred on BBO (since I didn't know that was there and I try to rotate hands so South is the key hand). However, sometimes I'm posting a hand from real life with a hand record. It would be great if I could enter it into the forum as in the hand record but then mark it rotated so when it is posted it shows up rotated.

The OP referred to "loading hands" and "teaching purposes", so I think he was referring to loading hands into teaching tables in BBO. This is totally unrelated to the forum software.

In the forum, you can't do it in the tool, but you can do it pretty easily by editing the hv code. The hands are notated with s=, w=, n=, and e=, and you can simply change these prefixes.

Voila!

Testing rotation:

Need to hit the dealer too for it to work.
