A few questions...
  • Shouldn't North's 1NT deny having a 5card minor?
  • Why does my XX show 5+C?
  • Why does the explanation of North's X include (exactly) "2 C"? I presume this is related to XX showing 5+.
  • Why does the explanation of my X specify "1+ D"?

GIB is so dumb as to run from the making contract- I can't see 2♦X going down.

From my experience, If 10+ HCP with 5c, he would bid 2c, if 1-9, he would bid 3c with 5c.
