Hi all

My girlfriend dabbles a bit in white magic. As a science teacher, naturally I don't believe in this rubbish for a minute. However, this morning, I heard her call out my name, so convincingly I called back to her. The problem was she was at her parents, about a mile away. I rang her and she told me that she had just finished a thought spell to make me think about her.

Anyone else had any experience of anything like this?

Next time your best mate calls you, tell him you just created a thought-amplifying helmet to make him think of you...

As a science teacher I would have thought you understood why after-the-event accounts are flawed.

Put another way, try asking your girlfriend to try the spell again at a random time during the next week and to write down the exact time when this happened. Record any times where you have special thoughts towards her during this time making sure that the notes are always kept in a place where she could not find it. At the end of the week have her tell you the precise time when she cast the spell.

And yes, I do have a (very) little experience with this - an old friend and housemate of mine is a Wiccan and practises.

Dreamed of eating giant marshmallows; when I woke up, my pillow was gone.

Hokey religions and ancient weapons are no match for a good blaster at your side, kid.

I hate the postman waking me up ringing at the door, and two times I woke up thinking the bell had ringed when actually it didn't

I always set my cell phone on vibrate and several times I've felt it's vibrating when it is not.
