How do your teammates react when you miss a game and you give them this argument?

I love the match when I missed two games. Won both boards. Opponents bid the wrong game and went down on both boards.

Surprised none of you play the newer style(been around nearly 20 years). Never invite. Jump to game or pass. New suits are slam tries.

Good luck performing this with a modern wide ranging opening style

It is better to have bid game and lost than to have never bid game at all

Must be missing something.
I like to win. Anything else is secondary.

I had two hands yesterday where I had a difference in evaluation compared with my counterpart.

All IMPs, short matches.

?

I do not like this problem and would have opened 1NT.
Admittedly not always a success, but not always a disaster either.

3NT is a great contract when bid in an uninformative sequence.
I like my chances single dummy.

I think picturing full hands for partner at an early stage is a very bad idea, let him at least make a bid!

Going to the extreme you could picture hands where opening 7 in your void is the best action
