The following thing is happening to me:

When I am playing in an acbl Speedball or Indy, and I become declarer in the first (only the first) deal of the tournament, I cannot see the oepning lead, and dummies cards stay hidden.
So I am waiting... till i realize "it is happening again"....then I have to log out of BBO and quickly come back, so I take back my place at the table.

I cannot believe I am the only one who is having this problem,, because it happens all the time.

Window7 64bit, web-version, IE9.

And also at the end. I wrote that in the "Reason for edit" message. I was kind enough to leave your comic font alone, but mostly because it's a PITA to edit that out.

You have been told repeatedly that your obsession with posting hearts is the reason your posts have to be reviewed by a moderator. I've tried to keep this private, but now that you insist on bringing it up in public, I'm forced to reply in kind.

And it's not my personal preference. This has been going on since before I started working here, I'm just maintaining the status quo.

There, I threw you a bone and let you have your hearts (but not your other rant post).

As far as I know, no one else has reported any problem like this.

Whenever I've had these issues, it's turned out to be my internet connection.

I tried playing an ACBL indy this morning with Win7 IE9. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to ensure that I become declarer in the first board.

You didn't say if you'd written to support@ and I don't recall this problem showing up there. However, I've asked the Support staff to look into this, see if they can replicate it, and find out what your problem is. Just off the top of my head, have you tried playing with a different browser? Firefox for instance?

We'll keep you posted.

We'll take a look and try to replicate.

I don't know that I believe this is related to Win7+IE9, but while we look into this:

- next time it happens, send a chat to the table before you log off and on. Doesn't matter what you send; what I'm curious about is whether you still have connectivity ( does the chat appear on the screen )

- do you get booted a lot? ie, how stable is your connection, generally speaking?

- do you use pictures or cards, or hand-diagram mode?

If we can't replicate, we might ask you to run a debug version that will be clearer about what's going on while you've lost conn.

Other things for you to try:

- try another browser. does the same thing happen?

Thanks a lot.

I never wrote to support, but discussed it online with ??? and ???.
Both times I heard that it had something to do with my cash: clear it they said.

I've tried that already, no effect. Anyway, it doesn't matter how long we were logged in.

Your other questions....

The chat.... I am not so sure....But I think "no chat" anymore.

Connectivity... in general very good... really no problems.

Normally i use " pictures or cards". But I tried that one, I don't think it matters.

Is your Flash Player up-to-date? The current version for Windows 7 Internet Explorer is 11.5.502.135.
