Let me see the NS hands and I will be able to answer the question. 
I would think that you should be in 5♦ (presumably doubled) which will go down 2 tricks in all likelihood (AK of spades, A of hearts and a spade ruff). There is a small chance that you can hold 4♠x to down 1 or even making, but it is more likely that you will go for a large number in 4♠x.
At the table, it would have to be East who would do the running. But I don't know that either partner can really run from 4♠x with any reasonable confidence that it is right to run.

perfect bidding lands can land in poor scores, doing something else here is an overlearning problem.
