Playing with a new nick then online variation, I am not able to chat as kib. Always I get then message: "Kib chat deactivated, use privat chat."
No one of the Admins can tell me why. My two requests to bbo dont get an answer.
Anybody knows?

Thanks

Hello Fluidum and welcome to the BBO forums. I am not an admin but I can tell you that kibitzer chat is an option controlled by the table host. If you are the host then pull up the table option window and look for a check box saying something like "Allow kibitzers to chat with players". If you are a kibitzer then try to find tables that have this option enabled if you wish to talk to the table. Obviously you should not comment on a live hand or distract the players if you do this.

In a table with a large number of kibbitzers, new members are not allowed to chat to kibbitzers. The purpose of this is to keep someone who has been blocked from chatting, presumably because they were being disruptive, from getting around this by creating a new account.

I think adding +anchat+ into the table description allows new members to chat.
