My first thought is that 5♦-6♦ is not out of the question, but:

1♦-(2♣)-2♥-(5♣)
5♦-P/6♣-6/7♦

2♥ is forcing for us, more awkward if you play NFB, opp may not bid 5♣ over 2, so you may get more space

I think the pass over 5♣ is a little weak, it can easily be right, but I think it's against the odds
