new version showing friends, followers, etc.

The new version showing followers, etc., is not showing up at all on my screens. I see nothing new at all. I have logged in several times and nothing is different.

BoatChik: have a mac
BoatChik: using CHrome as browser

to analyze: I marked her as friend. When she marked me as friend, I appeared on her online friend list. Then I unmarked her. I stayed on her online friend list, instead of going to a following list.
