Yes for the same reason I overcalled in the other thread. I may get hammered but if I don't bid now my next decision will be ugly.

2 . If 2 x goes for a number so be it. If the hand is the opponents, taking away a level of bidding may make it more difficult to bid. And if we defend, I'm telling pard where my values are at.
