I played a cute MP hand today

Click NEXT to see how the play developed and take it from there.

East follows the club you ruffed.
"Genius has its own limitations, however stupidity has no such boundaries!"
"It's only when a mosquito lands on your testicles that you realize there is always a way to solve problems without using violence!"

"Well to be perfectly honest, in my humble opinion, of course without offending anyone who thinks differently from my point of view, but also by looking into this matter in a different perspective and without being condemning of one's view's and by trying to make it objectified, and by considering each and every one's valid opinion, I honestly believe that I completely forgot what I was going to say."

Wow! Mr Ace played well. It's hard enough as a double-dummy problem. :) I wouldn't succeed, at the table :(. Click Next see the main variant,

trick 6 instead of ducking to the K rise with the ace
trick 7 spade to ace
trick 8 ruff a spade
trick 9 ruff a club
trick 10 ruff a spade
trick 11 diamond and no matter what west does we will score up our 8th trick

though I admit the ending reached in the problem certainly is cute:)

I agree it's a cute ending, but the play did start with
- LHO leading dummy's first bid suit rather than a normal trump or his KQxx and RHO then randomly giving you a free trick in the suit
- LHO ruffing his partner's diamond winner (which I admit didn't cost)
