methinks Mr. Tu had a similar recent experience. What did GUBBO expect from 10-12 hcp? JTxx? Why such a sunny view?

You might have had something like
where slam is basically cold. I didn't see anything in the description of 2NT that indicated a heart stopper.

VERY interesting johnu. you are right blurb does not mention heart stopper. 3NT blurb I am sure does.
If 2 NT is just an HCP bid it is VERY strange.
