As responder, you hold the given hand in an uncontested 2/1 GF auction:

Scoring: MP

1S – 2C
3C – 3H
4N - ?

If you decide to make a Blackwood response, use standard RKC: 0/3, 1/4, 2 w/o Q, 2 w Q.

I would probably have bid 1NT (forcing ) over 1 -- but that's not what the poll is :)
After the bidding above I will bid 5 (RKC resopnse for as I can't see it being anything else ;)

A new suit after a fit is found should show controll in that suit.
So i can't see what partners 4N can be other than RKCB so it's 5 to me.

I also don't see a problem here. The only problem might be if you play minorwood, so 4 would be RKC , and then 4NT should have another meaning. But since you didn't mention the minorwood possibility, I guess this is no problem and asks keycards for . So just bid 5...

Pard is not agreeing hearts as trump with 4N.

I'd start with 1N too, although 2N is an option for me, showing this type of hand.

Food for thought -

Why didn't North Blackwood directly over 2 clubs?
What did North learn from 3 hearts, which might be an attempt to get to 3N - secondary cards and not even a real suit?
Presumably North had a plan. What would he have done over 3N?

For this problem, a direct 2N would have been Jacoby

Abstain,
2 is quite a horrible bid, and now if 4NT is not RKCB then I don't want to know what it was, I'm not interested.

Now using RKC,if the trump suit were undefined, how to continue bidding?
So,4NT must be RKC for .then the answer is 5.
