I've created convention cards for partners I haven't played with online before. Is there a way I can share the cards without the other partner needing to re-enter them?

I've studied the interface and the Help in vain looking for this. Thanks for any assistance.

When you create or edit the convention card you can specify which BBO partner it should be used with. When you play with this person it is definitely copied into their set of convention cards.

Whether there is one copy or each has their own, or what happens if both alter their copy and then play together, is an exercise for the reader.

Hope this helps.
The Beer Card

I don't work for BBO and any advice is based on my BBO experience over the decades

So if I want to use the same convention card with different partners I put their BBO names in the partner box. Do I separate the names with a comma, space, colon, or something else?

Something else.

Put one name down, save.

Change partner's name, save.

Etc.

Is it possible to copy a card for minor modifications? For example, I may play 95% of the same card with 2 different partners, but don't want to spend the time to put in all of the detail multiple times.

It turns out you can just edit the current card and change partner's userid. When you save it you will have two separate cards.
