From WBT OCBL Open League - QF 2/2:

I haven't played through the video yet to see how the play went at the table.

You can either press the 'GIB' button to find out why I posted the deal or you can treat it as a double dummy opening lead problem where the task is to defeat the contract by one trick.

Why? Maybe they play upside down

Tho the later underlead suggests not.

Btw, the bidding was insane

North has an easy heart bid (in my partnerships, we transfer via 2D), and doubling to ‘suggest penalty’ is absurd.

Just my opinion😗

Great deal, Nullve :)

GIB merely shows HOW something can be done double dummy. Underleading the !H AK twice with south (inserting the 7 or covering the 9) happens to be the only sure way of forcing an entry to the south hand. Forcing the entry to south is only the first step. When south gets in they must lead the spade J and N must NOT ruff. This will eventually allow the defense to score 1c and 1h 3s OR 1c 2h 2s. It would be highly suspicious for ANY pair to find this ridiculous defense w/o the benefit of UI.

With such UI, you probably go after a H contract 😉
Well, even w/o, as others remarked...
