Would an administrator please clear my BridgeMaster progress? I've gone through the beginner and intermediate and would like to do them again rather than move onto expert.

Thanks

Nothing needs to be reset. You can keep going back to play the boards as often as you like.

Thanks for the reply. Yes, I realise you can redo the boards but what I'm looking for is to have all the completion icons removed so I can see how far I've got through them second time round.

Would it not be sufficient to create a new nickname for BridgeMaster use?
You can have as many as you like.

In your browser, trying clearing out the cookies to the site (may only be able to clear all the cookies). You'll have to log back in.

Or, sign in to bridgebase using a different browser which will have a different set of cookies.

They're stored on BBO's side, not locally, so this won't work.

I agree - if there is a way for us to clear our history and start over, perhaps section by section (e.g., beginner, intermediate, etc.), that would be helpful.

I use BridgeMAster on my laptop and also on my phone. My progress is different in each environment so ... clearing cookies will reset as required. Ignore the response which says that the "progress" is stored on BBO - not the case.

You can certainly ignore it and try clearing your cookies, but I'm afraid it still won't work:

a) my progress is retained in a browser I've never logged into BBO on
b) there is literally nothing in cookies / localStorage relating to BM progress
c) when you load BM an external API call to the BBO server returns the list of problems you've started / completed, not a local call
d) this has come up multiple times in the past, and a BBO admin manually clearing their progress was the only option that worked.

Was my suggestion of creating a new nick to repeat BridgeMaster (about one minute) flawed or absurd in some way?

It's probably not practical to abandon your account just to replay one game. By this logic, the players can go to bridgebase.com and play it anonymously; they start from scratch each time.

We'll consider adding a button to "reset my progress" in Bridge Master

We asked someone to reset your BM progress, you'll see it cleared in a few hours.

Thanks for that. I did end up creating an alternate account per earlier suggestion which achieved the goal but I imagine you don't really want people creating multiple accounts for that purpose alone.

Nope, we'd prefer to make it simple for players to keep their status, friends, etc in the same account :) Try now on your davidk1964 username.

Interesting. I finished every one of the BridgeMaster problems several years ago, and my history was cleared out.

Was it on the web version of BBO or in a different client version?

Hi. Could you please do the same for jdiana?

I've basically stopped playing but, if I get back to it, it will be like starting over. :)

Thanks in advance.
