Yesterday, 3/29, I was playing the NLM Daylong. On the 10th board I had 16 HCP with 3=4=2=4 distribution, so I bid 1NT. My robot partner replied with 3C, which I guessed to be a transfer to diamonds. However, the bid description came up as "6+C, 7-8 HCP". That sounded good, so I Bid 3NT. However, the dummy came up with 5=0=6=2 with 9 HCP. I did fine with my 3NT bid, but many players took the bait and bid 5C or more and went down 2 or 3 tricks.
