ANOTHER one that worked out okay...but I really don't think that North's FOUR CLUB call (a typically beloved...and typically stupid GIBBO jump to four of a MINOR) is wise. Note, BTW, the ever-annoying ("Jump in competition" -thanks SO much for telling us that, GIB, because we NEVER would have figured it out otherwise) and ever-pathetic GIB definition of 4C. Note also that North LIED and also ignored his own GIB definition, because he MOST definitely does NOT have "5+ clubs". He has ONLY four lousy ones!

"Interesting" four SPADE bid by North. Note that the GIB definition claims it shows "2+ spades". Well, I suppose he has them...IF you consider the STIFF (!) SIX (!) to be TWO...PLUS!!!
His own GIB definition also claims that his 4S call shows "14-18 total points". Well, okay...but that would be in support of DIAMONDS, not SPADES! In support of SPADES, his hand is worth 12 HCP...AND also only 12 "total" points...but I'll forgive GIB for that, because I've LONG been aware that GIB knows NOTHING about "total" points, so any reference GIB ever makes to "total" points should always just be ignored!

East wins his diamond 7 at trick three. Does he then play a spade, the suit his "partner" led? Of COURSE he doesn't. HE'S a GIBBO robot, so HE plays a CLUB, the suit DECLARER led.
Not only are these GIBBO trashcans among the absolutely worst "bridge players" of all time, but they are also CERTAINLY among the worst "partners" of all time. Please get rid of them and replace them with DECENT robots. That single move would INSTANTLY make BBO a much better site, by correcting its major flaw.

North makes a questionable pass at his first opportunity. He passes again at his second opportunity. THEN, at his third opportunity, he decides that he MUST...cuebid (!) three SPADES (!). Typical GIBBO "logic" and bidding "strategy".
Meanwhile, EAST bids Michaels, THEN bids 3C...ALL BY HIMSELF (as his "partner" West has promised nothing. The usual pathetic GIB definition of this silly 3C bid is "4+ clubs; 5+ spades; 17+ total points". FOUR plus clubs? FOUR plus???!!! Didn't his earlier Michaels call PROMISE at least FIVE spades and at least FIVE of a minor? So how come it's now merely "FOUR plus"??? All the MORE so, since if anything, his (ridiculous!) free (!) 3C bid should promise GREATER club length than previously shown. (He actually DOES have a sixth club, in spite of the useless and incorrect GIB nonsense about "4+".) And as for the "17+ total points": NO! He does NOT have them. He has a mere 14 HCP including a stiff king in the ENEMY suit (hearts), AND his side has NOT identified a legitimate fit, given that his "partner" West only bid 2S because he was FORCED by the 2H call to bid something.
Later, having ALREADY overbid, the GIBBO M.O.R.O.N. in the East bids FOUR spades, red against white...all by himself. It is STUPIDLY (as usual) defined as:

He IS right to do so, but it shows the TOTAL lack of co-operation between GIBBO "partners", as NEITHER wants to EVER return the suit his "partner" plays. They are useless, clueless "bridge players" AND they are also among the WORST "partners" who have EVER played the game. They stink in every way imaginable.
The two fools now manage the astounding feat of BLOCKING the club suit, preventing them from taking the FIVE club tricks they had from the START of the hand.
These two C.R.E.T.I.N.O.U.S. GIBBO losers had SEVEN...TOP tricks (5 clubs, 2 hearts)...yet they allowed declarer to take EIGHT tricks!
Needless to say, Frick and Frack got a VERY well-deserved zero on the board and added it to their massive, world-famous collection of total failure. GIBBO robots rot!

At trick two, East actually returns a spade! Yes, believe it or not, he actually returns his partner's suit!
BUT: Don't alert the press just yet, because after all East IS a cursed GIBO robot (worst of the worst, lowest of the low), so of COURSE he returns the WRONG spade. The nincompoop returns the SEVEN rather than the six, confirming what an absolute loser he is (just like ALL his GIBBO brethren).

GIBBO robots are by far the most hopeless AND nauseating THINGS I have ever seen anywhere, any time, or any place in the world of bridge. Take this hand, for example. Never mind the result, and never mind MY bizarre bidding (which I would only ever do at a table with three of these repulsive, disgusting GIBBO robots). Put that ALL aside and just look at North's truly insane three HEART bid. Uhh, maybe he forgot how to say the word "diamonds"? What a complete piece of garbage. But then again, I've known that since even BEFORE the first board I ever played with these dirtbags, because EVERYONE I knew who had already played with them had been telling me that for ages.
