A curious GIB(BO?) Declarer play

I was a bit surprised by GIB Declarer play on this board.
The hand is not plain sailing and it did well in the first five tricks, but I was puzzled that at trick 6 it seems to play East for stiff ♥KQ?
Is this just because GiB retains East "has" to have some unrealistic number of HCP to bid 3♠?
As often in recent posts, I wonder how many simulations are being performed (and do we not have the right to know?).
