The problem is the stupid 2NT bid
Who cares if robot is 8-11 flat
just bid 2♦ like any human would
and the bidding will go smoothly
2N is a never bid over 2♣
make it something like 3 kings so it will never happen

The GIBBO system in general is absolutely pathetic, but one of its worst aspects is its stunningly bad 2C structure. I have often stated that the ridiculous way GIBBO defines its 2NT response to a 2C opening is perhaps the most hopeless, illogical, and worthless part. I agree completely with Steve2005.

Hello! Just curious. I realize that robot's bid and description are problematic, but for my own education -
With human play, could the 3S bid over 2NT signify a stopper in spades rather than a true spade suit since responder knows that they have a heart fit? I presume this might be a way to explore slam rather than Blackwood?
I don't play cue bids much, so I thought folks could provide me guidance. Best regards.

Cue bidding occurs after a suit has been agreed. Yes, responder knows they have a heart fit, but partner does not and will rightly believe 3S to be a suit.
After the start here it could go 2♣ 2♦ 2♥ 3♥ 4♣ (cue) 4♦ (first cue)...4nt 5♥ 6♥

The OP isn't playing with GIBBO.

But "the start here" and the sequence msheald mentioned was after a 2nt response. While no sane human plays that as natural, if it does show support for all suits, it seems somewhat reasonable you could play 3♥ as agreeing a heart fit to try to salvage all the room that you wasted.

The 2 club open was wrong with 8 winners I would open 1 hrt and jump tp 4 hrts 2 nt spots 10 + 3 hrts shows suit 2 spds is wrong with 3 hrts and 10/12 points 4 hrts is the best bid 2 nt denies 5 spds 2 ps should show the ace and 14 plus pts 5 spd I have no idea

I believe that the 3♠ bid is showing the ace of spades and support for hearts; it is a slam try. However, the bid does not match the description of the bid. The description of the bid needs to be rewritten so that it matches how the robot bids. That way the human player can click on the bid and know how the robot is actually biddings. That needs to be done for a number of other situations as well.
