Blunder 1: West KNOWS from the bidding that I (South) have all the remaining trumps. Yet West plays the ♥3 at trick 2 to sacrifice the setting trick.
I find this illogical, but hey one can claim that, with 24 unknown cards, West made some faulty assumptions.
Blunder 2: So how does one explain the underlead at trick 8? The lead of ♣3 by West gives me an overtrick and an undeserved 98% score. The (highly unlikely) holding that may justify the underlead is for South to have ♠AK ♥AK752 ♦AKJ2 ♣J82. Assuming a sampling-based decision algorithm, this one hand out of a very large set would preclude West from this choice of line. And, even with this layout, cashing the ♣A ensures -1, while leading the ♣3 is going for a high-risk -3.
Something is seriously flawed.
