Well the only ns bid i agree with is 1♥. i would bid 2♦ over 1♠, or if playing with misho, i would bid 2♣ over 1♠ (which is a transfer advance showing ♦'s). And i would not dbl 1♠ with north hand if south did pass... and if some reason i passed with south's hand over 1♠, i would not pass the double... which is why pass with the south hand is wrong imho, at this vulnerability.

Agree totally with you Mike. I have seen too many of these "intelligent passes" backfire. We get a paltry penalty and we are in the refrigerator for 3N.
