Actually I'm a mugwump (someone who sits on a fence with his mug on one side of the fence and his wump on the other).
Like Bearmum, I also dislike seeing profiles that offer no useful information. I don't know whether to try partnering or opposing the person.
You could always just ignore them. They ain't harming anyone.

On the other hand, I believe that people do have a right to privacy. But, as Bearmum suggested, it is not particularly difficult to just make up a name people can use for you -- it can even be an androgynous name if gender is an issue.
Or, you could address them by their log-in name. Or if that is inconveniently long, by an abbreviation of the same. Why does a ficticious name in the name field add anything?

Not indicating what bidding and carding systems one uses seems silly also.
It is not hard to assume standard methods in the absence of indication to the contrary.

So here is an idea: The only reasons I can see for keeping one's profile so empty is that either you only login to BBO to watch other people play (perhaps even only vugraph broadcasts), or you only play with and against people you know.
Or you are not fussed what you play.
