I saw this on bridgewinners:

"After a 2/1 GF auction do you like to play rebidding 2M guarantee 6? Or is 2M your default bid on hands that don't bid 2NT?
2 Major rebid guarantees 6
2 Major rebid does not guarantee 6
A 2M rebid guarantees 6 After 2!d or 2!h, but not after 2!c"

I thought it was more common to play that 2M guarantees 6 only after 2 ?

Can anyone fill me in on how some people appear to play that 2M could be 5 over 2 but not over 2 or 2?
... and I can prove it with my usual, flawless logic.
