I noticed that Flash bbo somehow randomly doesn't so hand after biding ends in partnership biding. Same deal is not recorded in My result either so I can't see the hand without having 2nd client kibitzing my self.

Is there some bug thread somewhere still? I couldn't find it.

Are you playing with another person or with a robot as your partner?

If you were playing with a person, can please please let me know if you can replicate this problem when playing with a robot?

Thanks,

I'm still biding with my partner :) But problem is very random. It apears maybe once in 30 hands in average. But might happen multiple times in short time.

Thanks - do you use robots as your opponents or do you just have East and West pass throughout?

Does your partner also use the web-client? If no, then which of you is typically the host of the table?

When the problem happens, does your partner see the same symptoms at the same time?

If you can see any patterns in terms of when this happens (for example, maybe it only happens when the final contract is doubled or maybe it only happens if there has been an UNDO) that would be very helpful.

Doesn't matter. I have had opps passing, GIBs interfering and today even host biding.

It has happened when I'm host, partner is host or kibitzer is host. My partner is using windows client.

No. He is using windows client.

I didn't report this when I first saw because I couldn't find pattern.

Only relevant configuration that I can think of is that if table is limiting who is dealer somehow. Maybe even switcheroo might be reason. But I haven't yet found the pattern.

Not even dealer. Now it happened after 40 boards without dealer limitations :/

I could monitor the problem with wireshark and see if there is difference in communication.

My partner just added dealer rules (windows client). Bug triggered after change in hands 45 and 47. No idea if that is the reason.

Thanks for all the info, Suokko. I will see if I can figure it out.

Don't bother with the wireshark thing.

This seemed a good place to Post this. I asked Gerardo online, but he saw no answer, but said he will look into it.

I opened a Partnership Bidding table 3 times and resvered/invited nicholas27. who is trying to learn. He uses an ipad
but has not reported any problems or issues on BBO to-date.

The opps keep passing by design. I tried with and without switcheroo.

We bid and bid and it goes all pass..... and I can see BOTH our hands but he sees only his.

I invited Gerardo to sit, and it was normal. We both saw BOTH our hands, as expected.

Any clue? Thank you!

You say he uses an iPad. Was he using regular BBO or the mobile app?

Thanks for the report. I will investigate and try to fix the problem in the next version of the mobile app.

Are you using the Windows client or the web-client? If Windows then it might be worth trying the web-client in the mean time.

jkdood - is it possible your partner is using an old version of the mobile app?

I could not replicate the bug you report using the most recent versions (3.5 or 3.51) and there were some changes relating to bidding tables during the past couple of months.

If I am right about this, having your partner upgrade to the latest version should solve the problem. Feel free (and tell your partner he/she can do so too) to e-mail me directly (fred@bridgebase.com) if either of you want to discuss this further.

MY friend had to see about the kids before I could ask him yesterday, and has not logged on since. Thanks for both being out in front of this... I will inform him as well as inquire about his client, as soon as I can catch up with him, and report here. THANKS!

Good news - thanks, but can you tell me if he solved the problem by upgrading the app or did the problem just go away by itself?
