expert game?

I just played a game with opp having.......ten or 11 trumps ...


they claimed missing Kx of trumps....

As a non expert not sure what I shoud do but I accepted claim....


I was in the slot//.

they were experts

I am non exp/.

You should ask them to show their hand and state their line of play. If they claim on a drop, call the Director. Skill level is irrelevant.

Of course, I know nothing of the laws.

Perhaps you should post this in the laws forum.

You get a trick unless declarer said something about hooking/finessing for the trump K. "Drawing trumps" is insufficient in this case. If it was the stiff K onside and the opp said "drawing trumps" then you don't get a trick if they were in the right hand to lead toward the ace at that point.

If they say nothing about trumps at all you should get a trick in any case.

That's in offline bridge. Online claims are often sloppy. Real expert experienced online would take hook first then claim, as this is fastest. Or say something in the claim explanation box. If I was opp, I'd decline claim, ask for line, or just play on, if a non-tourney. Tourney call the director.
