♥ if you can, while gently dissuading the opps from bidding by showing a modicum of strength. Raising hearts right away is far too risky.
If you are EW at this table, then E did well not to double 3
♥ and, otherwise, it's just one of those things. But if you were South at the other table, maybe next time you'll bid. Of course, then partner might get you too high, but life's a risk.
