I want to play club-heart switch on the following positions:


1. 1m-(1♠)-??
2. 1m/1NT-(3♠)-??
3. (1m)-1♠-(pass)-??
4. (3m)-3♠-(pass)-??

My question is, if on 1 or 3, I bid 2♣ (hearts), what should be the meaning of 2♦ or 2♥ by partner?

Same question 2 levels higher for 2 and 4.

These auctions are all very different, but fairly natural seems basically best to me:

• 1D (3S) 4C: I think it is urgent to play 4D as natural. The main advantage of switch in this auction seems to me that you have more options to get the choice of games between 4H and 5D right, and any other agreements would lose that advantage.
  
• 1N (3S) 4C: seems best to play 4D as a slam suitable hand.
  
• 1D (1S) 2C: I would play both 2D and 2H as non-forcing.
  
• (1D) 1S (P) 2C: seems best to play 2D as extras, probably no clear direction.
  
• (1C) 1S (P) 2C: natural seems best? 2D forcing, 2H non-forcing.
  
• (3D) 3S (P) 4C: 4D = choice-of-games, 4H = choosing game.
  
• (3C) 3S (P) 4C: is this really a switch auction?

If so, shouldn't we play
  1♣ (3♠) 4♣
  4♦
as a hand that wants to bid clubs?

more or less the same for 1♣-1♠-2♣.... 2♦, it has very few sense as natural.

So diamonds would tend to show rebids in the minor or perhaps just missfitting hands, but should it be forcing? (I mena at the 2 level)
