This could had been a really funny one, at the other table they had combined disaster where a missunderstanding aobut minimum vs encouraging was followed by bad judgement and they reached 6NT X, for -800. Curiously, if declarer was a bit more awake he would had got away for -500 only after a "bad" defence.
At our table we didn't double, but we defended better, a low club was led, and declarer erred playing the King from dummy, this allowed me to unblock
♣J, and now we had 7 easy tricks, had I doubled maybe we could had tied this board at -500
The contract is makeable ducking the first trick around, tough to find on the bidding, but perhaps a double makes it possible. What is more likelly is that double brings +300 in 4
