I rank
Pass = No more to say.
5 = Might make.
Double = Two aces but cards likely to be badly placed in defence.

Easy 5 for me.

AKxxxx

is more than enough to play a vulnerable game on a finesse. OH! And pd opened! Add him a K or A.

Since they did not fit on heart suit, it is very likely that pd has 4 of them.

Now if only we can avoid that heart over ruff.

You do not need to. Compare your result with mine if that is the case when pd holds the hand I gave (xx xxxx x AKxxxx), instead of holding xx Kxxx x AKxxxx. for opening the hand 1

I make 5 if finesse works or if A is on. +600.

You go -130 instead of -100

or at best +100 instead of +600, by passing out 4.

Yes pd may have Kx xxxx x AKxxxx and you go down on over ruff, but then again, this also presumes that opening leader will have a comfortable lead.

Does Partner's pass over 4D mean something? Does the 3D bid put us in a forcing pass situation?

Not forcing because we are a passed hand, otherwise it would. Partner's pass over 4 was to be expected, we were trying for 3NT and could not play it anymore.

You should be able to click over the bid to see the alert explanation (maybe not on some mobile browsers). It shows long clubs, but a weak hand

Auto 5 for me as well. It's a lot more than a passed hand once clubs are trumps. If it doesn't make, it could well be a save against a making 4.

Only if LoTT is worthless.

It is neither worthless nor a bible!

Its accuracy at 4-5-6 level is close to worthless.

I presume that 2NT was "bad 2NT" - i.e., a hand wanting to compete on distributional rather than honor strength values - in which case long clubs are suggested. Therefore, it is clear that 3D was a cue bid showing club support. With this said, all you can do is "Double" - i.e., I want to bid but I have no clear descriptive bid - and leave the decision on whether to defend or continue on to 5C to partner.
