No way, *ever*, should robot leave in takeout double of 2D.
This is a prime example of letting the hand analyzer do what is usually the wrong

It does, according to the description of the bid. It just does not know how to advance in response to it when it happens.

Agree with the OP, but 2DX is the best possible spot for NS double dummy. CA, C to the K and a S switch beats it 2 tricks.
