I disagree. It is a crater not a hole in the database. Low level auction so pass is inexcusable. GUBBO is brilliant in card play and defense. In bidding, mostly competitive, it is a BIG ZERO.

North needs at least one more club to cuebid, possibly 2. KQx not nearly good enough.

A cue bid is the smallest lie, with pass being at the top of the list of worst lies.
