After I unselected split screen, the option to enable split screen disappeared. All settings are identical to my wife's computer, which still of course shows the option of split screen.

Anyone know how to re-enable split screen?

Whether to offer the split screen option depends on the size of your browser window -- if it's a small window like on a phone, you get the mobile app layout. Enlarge the window and the option will come back.

I can't find a split screen option.
It sounds very useful.
Where should I look, or what should I do.
I'm working on two 23" screens - so I should have enough room.

I would be more than satisfied if I could get the normal PC layout on my tablet - it's a huge window (1920 x 1080 HD) but I still get the same as a tiny mobile phone.

It's in Account -> Settings, it's the first option.

Are you running it in a browser or the app? I don't think the app offers split screen, only the browser version.

I tried running it in Chrome on the tablet, but when playing I couldn't get history at the same time, and in general things were not right.
When I tried Director for instance choice of table from Show Tables did not work well and I could no longer see DIRECTOR CALLS once I had chosen a table.

i somehow lost split screen and NOTHING i've tried has restored it. i want to be able to see the play screen and the history screen on split screen. how do i do it?

Your window has to be above a certain size for split screen to be available, so try expanding your browser window.

You also have to be on the right device, you can have the world's best Android tablet but no split screen (unless I am missing something).

On an iPad the trick in Safari is to click “request desktop version.” It doesn’t even have to be the “world’s best iOS tablet”, just has to use iOS 14.x.

Tap on the AA in the top left corner, it will pop up a menu that includes "Request Desktop Website".
