My include list which I have been using for about a month is not visible when I log in with my director tab.

Does anyone know how to get it back or do i need to type it all in again? A real bummer!

We implemented a new tool this week that allows you to upload an include list from a file.

https://webutil.brid...age_include.php

Just a thought -
Does the list from a file need to be sorted?
If so, what is the sort order?
Thanks.

Great.
Do I have to bookmark that or can I navigate to it under the Director tab in some way?

Bookmark it for now. I'll submit a request to add it to the client in the future.

Just another thought about this excellent improvement for TDs :

If I manually add a member to the custom list I must also "modify the tournament" (by, for example, making a minor adjustment to the start time or to the maximum number of entries) and then clicking the <Modify tournament> button.
But if I replace or modify the list by an upload using the new tool - do I also have to still "modify the tournament"?

I must say that this wonderful tool is saving me hours of work in keeping the custom list up to date based on requests through our website (http://www.acolatbbo.org.uk/)

Yes you still have to modify the tournament.

Thanks Diana. That's good to know - I will make sure that I "modify the tournament" when required.

Now - this is a great tool - so I'm not going to look the gift horse in the mouth - but a major improvement to this, and the manual method, would be for a change to the list to automatically trigger a modification to the tournament - like a change to the start time does.
(I blush to remember the number of times that I have manually added a member but been embarrassed that he/she was still unable to register because I had forgotten to modify the tournament.)

Depends how you need to use it. Sometimes you want your tourney to have a different version of the list.

Ah - I see.
I wondered if there was a reason.
Thanks for the info.

How do I get a tournament to use a different file for that tournament?
