time per board

BBO allows you to enter a fractional time per board but then rounds that to nearest integer which seems to be what it keeps. We would like to run 6.5 per board => 13 min per 2 board round. SO -- how does Speedball get 3 boards in 14 minutes (it is 14, not 15) => 4.67 per board?

Or alternatively, if fractions are a problem, minutes per round. It would be helpful because for me, about 6.5 minutes is what I want per board.

The server multiplies minutes/board by boards/round to get minutes/round, and then rounds this off.

When I enter 6.5 minutes per board it is excpeted, but when I create the tournament it jumps to 7 and the round times 14 for 2 board rounds or 21 for 3 board rounds. I cannot get it to 13 minutes for a two board round. Am I doing something wrong?

Maybe you have to do it after the tournament has started. It would be nice to get some clarity on this.

I would suggest y'all read the fine manual, but I suspect there ain't one.

There's a document (https://blog.bridgeb...manager-manual/) that is rather incomplete, and not updated to reflect updates to the software.
Experimented at length today: you can't use fractions. It rounds the minutes per board that you put in to an integer, then multiplies by the number of boards per round.

I think that we all find the "Whole Minutes" per board frustrating. Coding to be able to put "Tenths of a Minute" is easy. That would be so much better. It's done that way for BB$ - It's in Cents!!
