Declarer openly expressed she didn't know how to bid or play the hand, but managed to find a major suit elimination and stepping stone play to enjoy dummy's otherwise unreachable winners. She did look happy when she discovered partner was forced to give her dummy's winners and she'd made the contract. That gave us 4/12 MPs.
The next board was just as insane:
I don't know what was going on here, I couldn't believe it when the dummy came down. We held it to nine tricks but that was another 4/12 MPs to us because despite the combined 26 HCP, there is theoretically no making game (although someone made 11 tricks in 3NT). A couple of West's must have opened a weak two as a couple of West's were in 2♥-1 (although why didn't North find a bid in that case).
We were lying second before we played these two on the penultimate round, and a string of average minuses like this at the end killed any chance of us winning.
