A few times recently I have been unable to find the daily free Acol Tournament on the Tournament list, and so not been able to play it. It has happened again today (3 February). I have not seen any news or comment about this on the site, nor any advance warning that it is going to be suspended, either for a day or two, or for a longer period of time.

For the last (year or two?) I have appreciated being able to start my day with a few hands in this tournament (with mixed success), and I am sorry if it is now going to be phased out. I do realise that most people around the world do seem to think that SAYC is the way forward, but I am too old to change.

Can you tell us what is going on here?

For what it's worth, it's showing up for me (and about ~2800 others who it lists have registered). I believe it's restricted to certain areas only - are you using anything like a VPN that may affect which country BBO thinks you're in?

The tournament is not visible in areas where Acol is rarely found in clubs. Not sure of exact geographic coverage, but I believe the tournament is restricted to players from UK, Australia, NZ (maybe a few other countries but I don't know which)

With regards to your issue, it could be:
1. You are in one of these countries but were using a VPN location of another country. OR
2. You are presently travelling to some other country (on vacation etc.)
