Using Crowhurst do you assume 1N is 12-16? I was playing Acol and defending on this occasion , but hadn't discussed this.

Pretty standard NA auction starts 1NT-2♣; 2♦ (I assume, if 2♥ different)-3♠ (4♠, 5♥, GF). Any bid that isn't 3NT will be a cue agreeing hearts.

Does the 3♠ bid say anything about shape or honour concentration?
If not opener will raise to 4♥.

3♥ over 2♣ would be 17-19 3♥, 2♥ would be 15-16. =3♥ means exactly 3 hearts if that confused you
