Here are the considerations as I see them.

1. If opener has xx in spades, the game _must_ be in spades.

2. If opener has Kx(x) in spades, the game should probably be in notrump.

3. If opener has xxx in spades, opener should make the guess.

Is there a way to accomplish these?

In practice, I was opener and had Kxx. Offered the choice, my heart said 3NT but I feared being accused of masterminding. Down on a heart ruff.

Over 2NT we bid 3♣ as an artificial DSI, now Opener with xxx will bid 3♠ and with Kxx may prefer a red suit or a direct 3NT. If he bids a red suit we repeat spades.

Hi,

I would ask for a 3 carder, play 4S with a 53 and 3NT otherwise.

Anyway, you could bid a forcing 3S, which would sell the spade suit as a 6 carder.
Partner will most likely bid 3NT with Kx or Kxx, seeing 6 tricks in spades, and 4S with xx in spades,
and will do as well with xxx in spades.

I would not do it, but it may be an option for you.
