For the first time today, I was unable to replace sitouts by players who were not able to connect when Tournament started (6pm ECT). I had first to replace sitouts by random players to immediately replace these players by the selected players. I know that´s not how it should be done but I was in a hurry and had no other chance at all. 5 round later my selcted players again were replaced by those players randomly selected at the beginning. Does anyone know what happend? Was it my fault? Or was that due to BBO connection problems? At the end 50% of all players were disconnected and I had to cancel the Tournament.

Kind regards

When you sub-select in your players then sub-select them again. replace them with themselves. That makes them permanent

Okay, thanks a lot. But the reason why it wasn´t possible to replace sitouts by selected players is stll unknown, is it? Invitation was sent but when they accappted we both got a BBO message like: unable to replace sitout by player.

Kind regards

Apparently you must first Sub-any and then replace that sub with your sub using sub-select. Then Sub-select again to lock them in their seats.
Why sub-select doesn't work the first time is a mystery.

okay, than it wasn´t my fault (despite not sub-selecting the same user twice to fix him/her ;o) )

Thanks for your help
