I hate losing a board, when GIB is really stupid.

♦A and GIB can now count 5 tricks for the defence.


At trick 6 the same defensive tricks are available, but perhaps GIB assumes partner has ♠K, but even then playing ♦ can't be wrong as partner has shown 3♠ in the bidding

Good defense by West to set up the spades. Maybe they can be used on the next hand.

No explanation here. Old GIB plays diamonds and nothing else is even remotely close. Suspect this isn't an error with GIB's coded logic, but an error in communication with the server somewhere, where GIB ends up playing a random card.
